My field of expertise is public finance and development economics. Currently I work on topics related to tax evasion and other tax enforcement problems in developing countries.
My lectures and seminars focus on both economic theories and empirical methods used in modern economics. I expose students to the recent developments in economics by reading and presenting academic papers and replicating their empirical analyses. I aim to maintain an open and friendly atmosphere in classrooms and encourage students to engage actively in discussions and express themselves freely in English.
